Fur & Fabric
Genuine rabbit fur pelts, tanned soft and dyed, sold as single hides. Real rabbit skin — not faux. If you have worked with fake fur before, the difference is immediate: the backing is leather, it cuts clean, and the pile lies down instead of standing up.
What you get
Each hide runs approximately 45 × 35 cm (17.7 × 13.8 in). These are natural skins, so size, shape and markings vary piece to piece and the edges are irregular rather than trimmed square. Six colours: tan, black, brown, white, dusty rose, and a black-and-white mix.
What people make with them
Doll and teddy bear making, costume and cosplay trim, fly tying, model and diorama work, taxidermy practice, small upholstery details, bag and collar trim, and photography props. The pile is short enough to take a seam without bulking at the join, which is where most fur projects go wrong.
Care
Spot clean only. Never machine wash or tumble dry — water and heat will harden the leather backing permanently. Shake the pile out to lift it and store flat or loosely rolled, fur side in, somewhere dry.
Stocked in our Havertown, PA studio and ready to ship. We send the hide whole and leave the cutting to you.
